Great meal and service. All the meals at our table were very good. We had been shopping and wanted a quick bite. This was the spot !!
food & wine is phenomenal. Amy is amazing (request her as your server, seriously). this spot reminds me of a beach version of Pia's in Gulfport, FL. Ambiance is "old Florida" - my favorite. we had a bottle of Malbec, bruschetta starter, and filet entree with the famous Brussels (and fries for me). yum. yum. yum. yum.
Decided to dine here for lunch while on the island. Felt a little underdressed as our family rolled in with t-shirts/shorts on a Sunday, but seemed like many people were in more biz casual attire. Service was great as we had a larger group including multiple kids. Food was good. We had a mix of fresh catch, burgers and other sandwiches. Fries were some of the best on the island.
Stopped in at The Porch Restaurant on Anna Maria Island for lunch after an awesome walk on the beach, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was lovely, with great indoor seating and a very nice patio area. I started with a refreshing hibiscus tea, which was the perfect way to cool off. For my meal, I chose the fish and chips--crispy, flaky, and full of flavor. The accompanying French fries were perfectly seasoned and just as delicious. My daughter ordered the shrimp tacos and absolutely loved them. We finished with their homemade key lime pie. While it was good, I've had better versions elsewhere. The service was attentive and informative, with helpful recommendations and personal touches that added to the experience. A great spot to visit for a relaxed, flavorful meal!
Had a wonderful lunch sitting on the porch...at "The Porch". Large white covering tents to eat under and heaters, if needed. Our server was Elizabeth and she was very friendly and helpful! Our table had hibiscus tea, fish and chips, shrimp tacos, key lime pie and light cheesecake with some berries! Yum
Excellent food, service, atmosphere! Bartender is fantastic!!!! What a rare gem in this beautiful area. The food is fantastic! Kudos to the chefs. Well done all around. Have been here many times and can't wait to visit again. Highly recommend.
If you have a chance to visit while you are in town visiting AMI, this place is not to miss! We sat at the bar due to availability but were so glad we did. The bartender is a local and completely one of a kind. The food from the calamari appetizers to the main seafood entries were simply amazing. Highly recommend this place!
If I could give this restaurant 6 stars, I would. The food here is just incredible. They turned what looked to be an old residence into the intimate dining space that it's become. It's really a unique spot to grab a fantastic meal. Our server was also very personable & helpful with explaining the menu items which was a nice touch. We ordered the crab dip to start which was creamy & loaded with flavor. Our entrees were the ribeye that was cooked to absolute perfection (hard to come by in places that aren't top end steakhouses), & the black grouper with a lemon cream sauce. For dessert we tried their signature Basque Cheesecake and if I didn't feel like I was about to burst at the seams I would've ordered a second piece. It's THAT good. Can't wait to recommend & return here.
